More than a century of hospitality, still going strong
We've been around the block a few times, and we're pretty proud of where we've been and where we're headed.

The doors opened for the first time. Back then, we were the tallest building in Vancouver - quite the sight, honestly.

Added the Grand Ballroom. It's hosted everything from royal visits to rock stars - the stories these walls could tell.

Launched our spa when everyone thought we were crazy. Turns out, people really dig being pampered.

Major restoration project. We kept the soul but upgraded the tech - best of both worlds, really.

Became carbon neutral. Our grandkids are gonna need a planet too, y'know?
It's pretty simple, actually - we want every guest to feel like they've stepped into something special.
Look, we've been doing this for over a hundred years, and we've learned a thing or two. Like how a genuine smile beats a forced corporate greeting every single time. Or how sometimes people just need extra pillows and a quiet spot to decompress without being bothered.
We're not trying to be the flashiest place in town - that's never been our style. Instead, we're that spot where you can actually relax, where the staff remembers your name on the second visit, and where the building itself has character that you just can't fake with new construction.
Our heritage isn't just about old architecture (though ours is pretty stunning, not gonna lie). It's about maintaining standards that seem kinda rare these days - real attention to detail, proper service that doesn't feel stuffy, and creating experiences that stick with people long after checkout.
We've got a pretty amazing crew here. Some have been with us for decades, others are bringing fresh energy. They're the real reason guests keep coming back.

                                                    General Manager
Been with us for 18 years, starting as front desk supervisor. She knows this place inside and out, and honestly, nothing gets past her.

                                                    Executive Chef
Trained in Paris, worked in Dubai, chose Vancouver. His food is incredible - fancy enough to impress, but not so fussy you can't enjoy it.

                                                    Wellness Director
Runs our spa like a zen master. She's got this calming presence that makes everyone feel instantly relaxed. It's kinda magical, actually.

                                                    Chief Concierge
If it exists in Vancouver, David knows about it. Need tickets to a sold-out show? He's your guy. Been doing this for 25 years and knows everyone.
